This is a beautiful picture to behold! Love truly transcends every barrier, taking it down and crushing it beneath Its feet.

Mark 10:15-16 “Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” And He took them up in His arms, put His hands on them, and blessed them. (NKJ)

Luke 9:47-48 And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a little child and set him by Him, and said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great.” (NKJ)

  1. Wonderful story! Thank you for sharing.

And like you, I’m trying hard at the moment to live the faith. May God, through the prayers of all the Saints, help us all.

  2. No Olympiada, that “Love” never falls apart. Never. It is our God who is Perfect Love and that never falls apart.

No I’ve not read Fr. Georges Florovosky. He’s on the list for someday though and the list is growing rapidly! Right now I am trying to live the Orthodox Faith, not intellectualize it.

  3. Phillipa,
I do not know how to break it to you, but sometimes this love falls apart.

Ever read any theology by Father Georges Florovosky?
