    The Exorcist is based upon a true event in Georgetown, DC. Fr. Thomas Edwards was part of the parish and knew the priest who performed the exorcism. The boy (the real character was a boy) now lives in Boston, his past kept strictly secret. He is a devout catholic, but Fr Tom either knows no more or is not saying. The demonic seems to have come from contact with a close relative who was into the occult.

    Oooh, “Little Women” – I think it’s time for a re-read of that one. Great list. “Flowers for Algernon” is a tearjerker.
