“Character is not important”

While in the cafeteria grabbing a quick dinner before going to my Literature mid-term, I overheard three young ladies discussing last night’s Obama-McCain debate.  They had a civil discussion and were able to remember the issues fairly well.  Then I overheard the “older” of the three say,

“It’s sad that people will vote based on the candidate’s character and not the issues.”

And for this her parents are paying $42,000 for higher education.

  1. I finally took tie to listen to the History lesson. See my comments at that post, and thanks for the reference.
