Garden ‘fruits’

I always wanted a garden than had Gladiolas.  The flowers on the left are the fruit of those bulbs planted two years ago.  The Hydrangea, while not the particular style I like, always bring a smile to my face because they remind me of my childhood days.  Grandmother had a long row of hydrangea that went down the side path to the backyard along the left side of our row home in Philadelphia.  They were always huge and all shades of blue.  There is something ‘old’ and ‘nostalgic’ about them.  I hope these flowers bring a smile to you today, as they did me.

  1. Very pretty. I too love hydrangeas and have some of the white variety that turn somewhat mauve in autumn.
